A natural way to sustainable recovery
Neuromuscular therapy
A holistic approach
We live in a hurried world where there is a lot to do. Our bodies were not made to sit in front of the computer all day and do little exercise. We are busy, there is a lot happening in the world around us, we get overexcited more easily. We become disconnected from ourselves. Burnout, structural stress, vague complaints or chronic pain are often the result.
Trigger points are the most common cause of (chronic) pain. With neuromuscular therapy, I treat these muscle knots from a holistic point of view, which in most cases results in an enormous health gain!
Do you experience back-, neck-, shoulder-, pelvis pain, headaches or migraines? Do you suffer from chronic pain? Or are you experiencing psychosomatic symptoms? Perhaps you have seen many different specialists and practitioners, but the pain seems inexplicable?
Treatment methods
My treatments are holistic and stimulate the self-healing capacity of the body
This means that I see every ‘complaint’ as a signal from the body that the balance is disturbed. In some cases, addressing such a complaint requires not only medical treatment, but also attention on a mental, emotional (conscious and unconscious) level. And thus contributes to a healthy balance between body and mind.
Modern treatment methods and the latest insights are used to relieve your pain and tension. By looking at muscle chains, referred pain patterns of trigger points in the muscles and also with knowledge of myo- fascial lines, I look beyond the local complaint, pain or limitation.
The aim of my treatments is that you experience less pain, recover and regain balance.
About Daphne van Meningen
I have a very personal way of treating people. This means that I find the person behind the complaint very interesting, listen carefully to your story but also register what your body tells me. I strive for you to learn to reconnect with your own body, to feel safe and to come ‘home’, as it were, to your body, so that you can make a lasting recovery.
